Mine comes after my employer files taxes so usually in May.

The same as last year Pinky: $170K. No bonus.

My net worth is a little less than $2m if you include home equity. Considering I didn't start making good money until 2020 (low-paying do-gooder jobs), that's not bad.

275k. Dual fed.

Business owner. I’ll make $2.2M this year. This is my first full year with the business operating. I’ve been in this line of work for many years, but always worked for others. Never made more than $700k working for others. So glad I bet on myself.

DH also had a good year — close to $1M.

Ohh tell us more! I’m over building wealth for other people.

Dunno. We buy stuff on card, pay card off in full. Don't seem to run out.

We'll gross about $135k this year - no bonus.

How much of all of that will go to taxes, do you think?

Half

Absolutely no idea. Last year was a little over the $1mm mark. Absolute worst case would be $400k. We live well below our means so it’s also not a huge deal either way.

$400k or so if you include bonus of about $70k. One full time and one part-time in education (hardly makes anything). DCUM always makes me feel very poor.
Anonymous
125k.

I'm an RN and DH is a police officer. Just what bonuses do you think we're getting?

wage income $700k or so. Investments, depends if you count 401k/nt income. But otherwise probably about another $200k plus. We are advanced degree holders, middle aged so some inheritance and 401k buildup. I feel like this is the DCUM demographic though I realize we are 2%-1%ers (which is quite different than our neighbor 0.1-0.01%ers.. and also 25-75%ile HHI)
