This made me laugh out loud. Agree all around. |

| Why is Newark such a a dangerous area? |
There are a lot of poor people and a lot of non white people in Newark so it feels dangerous to some but it is not dangerous. |
|
Newark flights can be reasonably priced because it's part of the NYC area = more competition on pricing.
That also means the airspace is more congested, as it's part of NY TRACON, which is the busiest airspace in the world. Consider taking the Amtrak to Newark Airport station. It'll probably end up cheaper than driving and paying for parking too. |
Newark is controlled by the PHL TRACON, not N90 (NY TRACON). |
| lol no. Taking an uber to the airport terminal you’ll be fine. |
| Anyone think Newark or Newark airport train station is better? I am going to drop my daughter at either Newark or Newark airport train station on Sunday and she'll take the NJ transit into Penn station (much cheaper than amtrak). I am driving to N Jersey anyway---does it matter which one I drop her at in terms of convenience or anything else? |
Newark Airport train station would be my choice. |
| Newark airport is not in the city. I’m from northern New Jersey and we’d drive there all the time. It’s totally fine. |
Newark train station is in the city so if you’re trying to avoid that then Newark airport. But honestly why Newark? Depending on where you’re coming from I’d either drive her to the path in Hoboken (if you really want to make it easy for her) or drop her at some station further out in NJ like summit or whichever line you’re closer to |
| Lots of folks unaware that Newark is home to some of the best Portuguese food around. Ferry St. is a destination and a nice place to stroll on a warm evening. |
Newark Penn Station is better. Getting from the airport to Newark Penn Station, or NYC Penn Station, is easy for people who’ve done that before but confusing to figure out. |
This is actually the right answer. |
