I am waiting to see what will happen with my two R1 alma maters. I actually have an odd interest in what areas the universities choose to commit to fund. What they offer up that aligns with their missions but also Trump priorities. Like workforce development for Brown and farm research for Cornell. |

Please stop. Do you even have a kid applying? If you do and they are accepted ED, just tell them that you were morally outraged about this and found out after Larla hit submit on the ED application. They will gladly release your kid from the ED acceptance. |

Explain why? Serious legal matters do not need to be timed to the admission cycle. I doubt your kid applied to Cornell ED because it met some ideological purity test you are now retconning. |

I do. It would have been good info before kid hit submit. Kid was debating between 2 EDs and this may have influenced decision. It’s part of why kid didn’t EA to UVA. |
