Varsity college athlete on LinkedIn but not on college roster

I’m sure this is different in different schools. While my child’s D3 webpage roster is accurrate I’m not aware of any NCAA rules about webpage presentation. I’d guess what a school and a team have on the webpage depends on how the webpage is managed at each school and maybe even coach preference.

Team managers are considered part of the team, they do senior night, they receive a ring if they win a championship.

Yes under Activities and Societies when they list the college. Some employers look for this.

My friend does hiring and there is a company they pay to check to see if they even graduated from that school they say they graduated from.

That's not accurate, I earned four varsity letters as a manager in college, full ride, listed on the rosters as part of staff. but I did put on my resume that I was a student manager. opened many doors.
