I don't want to be Cosby's friend, but the show was good. We should still hold people accountable for their actions but that doesn't mean they didn't produce greatness.

But that's not the alternative. You don't have to be a mediocre talent to be a decent human. I think if we had a lower bar for bad behavior, we would find that a lot of genius exists that has just not been developed/discovered/allowed to rise above the talented a-holes.

That's why I'm fine with people like Al Franken being canceled. Was he "that bad"? Eh. But there are literally a million similarly funny or politically qualified people who don't behave badly.
