Women in your 40s, what's your age limit filter set to?

I have went on dates with 25-47. I have had long-term-ish situations I have ended with ages 33-36.

I would not date someone older than 50 in any scenario. I am not going to be a nurse with a purse and I if I am not going to remarry (which I won't), younger men are better.

Even my 92-year-old grandma at the time of divorce when I was 42 told me, "you need to be careful with older men." Many women date older and end of being a nurse maid. That is fine if you are married to them for 20+ years...it is not fine now.

Look at Emma Willis / @ 49, she has an 11-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 70-year-old husband with dementia.

And a bunch of adult children.
No thanks. But ok

I appear very young according to coworkers who keep asking my age. I'm 43. I'm not white. I never dated older than me. Ever. Always 10 or a few years younger than me. I see Mom's with infants and the moms always look a decade older than me.

To the pp above. Moms with infants always look older because they are tired. When their kids get older and they get more sleep, many of them bounce back.

How is it any different than the old women in their 40s dating 30 something year old men

Also women tend to lose their looks after 40, men don't rely on looks for attracting mates it's status and wealth

Man in late 50s. I've dated many women under 45 and a few under 40. Several of them told me on the first date that they were sick of seeing the same faces on the apps so they increased their upper limit and found me. I've ended up in real relationships with more than one of those. I also had women say they thought they couldn't be attracted to a man my age and were surprised to be wrong. One of them then shut me down and said "But I still don't want to see you again because I'm holding out for someone within five years of my own age." One of them ended up in a LTR with me. It's not like I'm some amazing looking guy. Plenty of women my own age have not found me attractive and some of those go for younger men.

For the 40+ men with ED issues, bring forth a hot girl under 30 slit/fit/sexy NEW plaything and magically the ED goes away

A lot of times the ED is due to loss of attraction towards the 40+ woman he been banging for 20+yrs

Why you think your hubbys with ED still jerking off multiple times a day to those porn hotties? Cos that is what makes them aroused. Not your nagging 40+ selves

Oh honey, tell it to my friend who is 30 years younger than her husband. They stopped having sex after 5 years into marriage. She was 35 and he was 65 at that time.

Men who can get it up will get it up with a 10 years older woman.

A few days ago I went on a date with a 58 y.o. man, and he is so much looking for serious, committed relationship, started planning our future life together on the first date and then sent me a message saying how he would want to pour all his energies, heart and soul into me, but he would need the same in return. I’d rather keep dating the guys in their 30s, much less demanding.

I don’t know any guy in their 30s who would date old 48yo women.

Some men can get it up with any women, fat, ugly and even 90 year old grannies. That’s not the norm.
The vast majority of men get up only when they find the woman attractive.

Most ED are simply the signs that the man doesn’t find the woman attractive.

Why would you limit your options? Your friends are crazy. Georges Clooney and Brad Pitt are over 60. I would date them. Wouldn’t you?

Fair point. I would consider a year to be long term. Even 6 months might be. Those were not flings or one nighters.

Nope, they just would perform okay for some time and then it stops working. I was that much younger pretty arm candy and dated very wealthy men . It’s just a circle trap they get themselves trapped but not supported by medical data

Go get on pills you’ll be happier
