Jobs and Careers
I dislike maga too but this is true. Think back to 2021-2022, there were plenty of people whose livelihoods had been threatened or hurt by Covid policies that were typically supported by Ds. What would you have thought if you wanted to visit a friend who is a travel agent, and she told you no because of the policies you support? Because that’s what you’re doing. You’re also proving their point. You’re entitled. you’re still employed!!! |
Nope, pp is on point. |
| They don't let their beloved illegal aliens in their home. Why would they let anybody else in their home? |
| They can get a hotel instead of following the Cheeto in Chief and grifting. Maybe stay at a trump place. They are just looking for free lodging. No way to that entitlement. |
| No. |
Yeah, no. Not the same. Covid policies, however misguided some of them might seem in hindsight, were in place to try to save lives in an unprecedented situation. And if a travel agent had said no, I would have respected that, gotten an hotel room, and realized that she must be in a pretty dire situation herself. What’s happening to feds is not to save anything, it’s purely to sow chaos. No one needs to invite anyone into their home who’s cheering on their own demise. |
This! No way are MAGA morons that I don't even know are staying at my house. |
Your response is fascinating. Plenty of MAGAs think the Covid response was pointless and it to save lives. Plenty of MAGA think that the changes in government are necessary and not for chaos (despite what ONE government official is quoted as saying). It’s actually a very similar type of event. My take is that many government workers haven’t experienced true hardship, especially when it comes to employment and the economy. Even the chance of losing one’s job is traumatic and they are unequipped to deal with it. Hence the reaction that someone who supports a different political party can’t stay at their home. |
Amazing that people who preach self reliance believe they are entitled to stay at other people’s homes. |
| Absolutely not. |
| Depends on what kind of MAGA. If they just dumbly supported Trump like everyone else in Texas, they may not actually even know about the attacks on Feds, and if they do, they may disagree with DOGE. But if they worship Elon and take glee in DOGE, then no way they stay in my home. |
The thing that’s crazy about this post and many of theMAGA followers is they make up a story in their head that’s based completely in zero facts and they state it like it’s truth. One reason I don’t want.MAGA in my house is because it’s like talking to a mental patient who lives in some dissociative state. The policies you’re talking about happening in 2020 while Trump was president. Also the rules about what should be closed on what should be open did not fall down Democratic vs Republican lines especially with the school closers most Democrats wanted schools open. And a huge group of Republicans did not want it open because most of them have terrible healthcare and had pre- existing conditions and we’re dying at higher rates than Democrats.. besides Republicans love to sit home and collect an unemployment check Also travel agent got PPP loans which kept them in business and I would be fine with feds being fired as long as you gave them PPP loans until they found another job. Also inviting a mega over to your house when you’re losing your job as a fat is like inviting your racist grandmother over when you have a black child. It’s not a religion, honey it’s morals. Most religious people don’t understand morals. |

No, I wouldn’t. They can stay in a hotel. However, my husband would agree with me on this. You have a husband issue.

This illustrates the problem that most MAGA live in a fantasy world of false equivalences and can’t recognize the threat that Trump represents to our country. He’s tearing down the fundamentals of our government and instead of condemning it, they’re claiming victimhood and that it somehow justifies this idiocracy. |
I mean my MAGA aunt is also super racist. She'll say stuff I absolutely don't want my kindergartener to hear. So no, she's not welcome around me or my kid. |
