Sitcoms of the last ten years?

I just watched A Man on the Inside and it was great. It's the newest show from Mike Schur (The Good Place). Here are a few others I haven't seen mentioned yet: Rutherford Falls. Girls5eva. LadyParts.

I loved Man on the Inside. I was reading a little about Season 2 in the past couple days and it sounds amazing.

Somebody, Somewhere is one of the best shows I've ever seen. I LOVE it. I want to live in that world with those characters. I don't think I'd call it a sitcom but it is absolutely a treat to watch - and it's half an hour, so I guess it does fit that format.

I think it's funny none of us have suggested The Bear, which wins the best sitcom GG every year. It's not a sitcom! But it is very good.

It really is great. Jonah just had a guest role on Ghosts!

YES to all these suggestions! I found the only other person who watched Rutherford Falls!! I loved it, too - another imperfect, but wonderful, show.

Man on the Inside is SO good. Girls5Eva is amazing.

Loved Somebody Somewhere! It starts a little slow but it’s so good, so sweet and very funny

Love Young Sheldon, hate Big Bang Theory.

Love 30 Rock, Ted Lasso, Letterkenny.

Hate laugh tracks (or "live studio audience") It makes the acting stilted when all their lines are written to *wait for laugh*

Basically I'm looking for snappy, funny writing. No over-reliance on dumb stereotypes. Tall order, I know.

Fisk

Happy Endings

Arrested Development (although this has a lot more subtlety to it and will be appreciated more if you're not fried)

Veep (similar to the above)

Schitt's Creek

This show was so heartwarming but also funny. I loved Bridget Everett so much and just wanted to be her friend.

Fantastic show. I rarely watch TV. It sucked me in. Found out about it from the New Yorker.

If you liked Young Sheldon there’s a current spinoff of that on CBS. George and Mandy’s First Marriage is the name, I think.

The Other Two - created by former SNL/Broad City writers

Also, you should watch Broad City.

It’s older but Scrubs gets me every time.

PP mentioned Life in Pieces. It’s very funny but we watched via Hulu and the commercial breaks were horribly long….in a Lost kinda way.
