Morale is terrible everywhere in the federal government right now due to terrible management by Trump and Musk.

True. But he did promise to have a lot of issues solved on day one and many issues that have arisen since he took office are unaddressed and still others are caused by his actiuons. Face it, life was a lot better 5 months ago. |

Is the US military really in the position to deny anyone who wants to join a branch and is qualified to join & serve? I'm talking about the upholding of the ban on transgender service members.
My oldest is 23 and youngest is 18 and graduating this year. Zero graduates from my oldest's class joined the military. Two did from my middle son's graduating class, and so far 1 has been accepted to the Naval Academy from my 18 yo's class that graduates in a few week. I don't know of others joining the military until the school newspaper comes out that publishes the post-grad intentions of each student. So out of around 760 students (class of '20, class of '22, and class of '25), only 3 went into service. That's 0.0039%. |

| Well the answer is yes but I think the answer depends. I don't doubt the administration is doing it this way as part of its own the libs culture war. However, denying enlistment to people with medical conditions happens all the time. It probably matters not at all if someone needs medical support for their transition, and is an admin clerk in the Air NG. It matters quite a bit to have someone needing ongoing medical care if you're in the infantry. |
