I met him too and he was so generous with the picture taking. Still one of the highlights of my life as I'm a live long JP fan.

John Denver and Emmy Lou Harris…met both after their concerts, and they could not have been nicer.

Simone Biles is ridiculously normal. She was sweet and kind in a way that makes you wonder if she even realizes she's one of the greatest athletes ever.

This is really cool to hear. A couple of years ago there was a story about a man from Iowa who died, and Charles Barkley was at the funeral. It turned out that the two met at a hotel bar in California and became friends. They would meet up when they had business in the same city. The man had told his family and friends that Barkley was a good friend, but they thought he was exagerrating. They realized it was true when he was at the guy's funeral.

Barkley is the nicest ever. bar none, seriously. That guy is so down to earth, no airs and just a good person. I've had a number of friends who randomly found themselves meeting him and told me stories about him - consistently same MO of being a real person.
NP, I’ve been a Barkley fan since he was with Phoenix, so I also love to hear this. I also love him and Shaq’s friendship .

Met him twice. Amazingly friendly, down to earth guy. Irish in every way possible.

I’m so jealous. I’ve been holding a candle for him since his Remington Steele days. I’ll say this, though, he’s lost his Irish accent, if “Mobland” is any indication.

Genuine, looked people in the eye, asked their name.
She was so famous and so revered that she could have been a diva, but instead was like a loving grandmother who loved the people around her.

I did not meet her directly but worked for an organization that hired her to speak. They found her to be quite a diva.
