Charles Barkley is incredibly personable. Met him at a hotel, greeted him politely and ended up sitting with him for hours and it was like talking to an old friend.
Simone Biles is ridiculously normal. She was sweet and kind in a way that makes you wonder if she even realizes she's one of the greatest athletes ever. |
Okay is clearly a typo for play. |
Was the wedding Ella's? |
Caitlin Clark!! |
This is really cool to hear. A couple of years ago there was a story about a man from Iowa who died, and Charles Barkley was at the funeral. It turned out that the two met at a hotel bar in California and became friends. They would meet up when they had business in the same city. The man had told his family and friends that Barkley was a good friend, but they thought he was exagerrating. They realized it was true when he was at the guy's funeral. |
Sarah Silverman |
I waited tables in the aughts in DC and met a lot of DC famous people (journalists, political figures etc). Susan Rice was incredibly kind and encouraged me to continue my education. Dana Perino gave me a hug. They were the nicest. |
Rob Halford, lead singer of Judas Priest. He’s amazingly kind and I met him at the top of their fame. |
Fred Rogers. Lovely. Same persona as Mr Rogers. |
Paul Newman- I waited tables on him twice- so, so nice. And he left a lovely tip. Harry Connick Jr - I helped him shop for his wife in a store I was working at in college. |
Alice Cooper.
He signed a golf ball for me and posed for pics with my kids. Smileing the whole time. |
Oprah. |
Met him twice. Amazingly friendly, down to earth guy. Irish in every way possible. |
Barkley is the nicest ever. bar none, seriously. That guy is so down to earth, no airs and just a good person. I've had a number of friends who randomly found themselves meeting him and told me stories about him - consistently same MO of being a real person. |
Mel Gibson.
John Wayne but was a kid. Everyone is nice to kids. |
