The kids play organically, EVERY DAY, and are not cone-drills kings and queens like the DCUM mafia. You folks really don't get futbol. I wish you would just go to lacrosse or find some other way to get the kids into Ivy. Futbol is an organic game that develops from playing organically, EVERY DAY. |
They can't keep the ball for more than 5 seconds because you parents force your kids to play 11v11 as fast as possible. Playing 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 is the blueprint for player development internationally but the parents in the states, especially the DMV, don't seem to want to accept this. You see the results when the kids reach 15+. Stop trying to win at all costs in the early stages and develop players. Swallow your ego parents. You are the problem. |
Alright Cheech. They are doing the same exact things everywhere now they just have more people doing it and play year round outside on grass. Those are your organics -grass. |
well played indeed. Got halfway through before putting it together lmao |
they werenāt merit driven. Lots of politcs and parents crying to TDs. |
Again, consolidating talent does what? Those talented players were just as talented and had the same opportunities when they were at NVA. When players of that caliber move to an already good VDA team they displace other good players and the team is no better off. |
ALL clubs around here will take higher level players if the opportunity presents itself, you're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. If any players lost their position at VDA for next season, they lost it because a better player showed up. Among reasons already listed as for why BP flat out is better than any other girls director in this area, he puts a TON of work in as far as communicating to his players and building the training environments to show these college coaches that they're being challenged daily when they're brought out. Other clubs could bring out college coaches but would they see the same training environment? Likely not. VDA just like how FCV was before, in this area gives the best route and preparation for what comes in college. There's no mommy and daddy around to try to pull strings for little Susie to get this or that at the college level. |
Does organic mean without coaching, teaching and structure? |
Not the OP, but that's what I assume they are saying...there isn't enough unstructured play where kids can just play - think of the street ball that exists with hoops in the US. Kids go and play, take chances, try a new move, throw up a shot. I think what they are getting at is that the US P2P system forces structure and penalizes creative play. That's my $0.02. |
| How is it possible that no one from Virginia Revolution was invited? |
Serious or sarcasm post? |

So I saw Bethesda 08s lost 7-0 to Penn Fusion and the 10s lost 4-1ā¦
Bethesda has a lot of USYNT players and Camp invites, double what Penn Fusion has and the 08s won the National Championship. Can someone explain this to me? I mean I have never seen either play so but on paper results like this make me wonder⦠|
I literally choked on this one š¤£š¤£š¤£ |
Rounding into form with Memorial Day next week. Feeling good about the playoffs for sure no doubt š |
$$$ and influence. IRS called āpoliticsā, my friend. USNTs have always been about politics. |
