The thing is, Potomac girls really don't have many higher level players, at least at the older ages, anyhow. |
|
U13 and younger certainly aren’t important ages so they may stick around.
Bethesda’s ECNL teams are all full of former Potomac players, if they can start keeping them it won’t take too long to significantly improve. |
| they suck who cares |
| Everyone sucks, but Potomac is better and bigger than most so plenty of people care. |
|
Potomac 2014 finished first in EDP 1.
Potomac 2013 finished first in EDP 2. Older teams not as good. But something to work with if they can keep the younger girls in the club. |
|
Potomac 2011 currently 1st in EDP 2
Potomac 2010 near the bottom of EDP 1 Not world beaters but competitive. EDP 1 top to bottom is at least as competitive and often better than the Northeast RL and VA RL leagues. |
To piggyback off this and stick with Maryland teams, at many years there’s quite a few EDP teams—even past 1–who can easily hang with and are probably stronger than Pipeline and MD United RL. Bethesda RL is generally strong. |
this right here... it was absolutely brought up/implied during the recent town hall that the better Potomac girl players leave to clubs with more "prospects" - BSC or others |
| Unless its an announcement for joining ecnl, they will still lose girls to bsc. The competition and scouting is simply higher. |
|
The hats will flock once BSC is forced to go GA and the rents still want to play ECNL in MoCo
Potomac is rising... |
| It's been 4 days and no new info... |
|
Off topic but my 2012 DD is about to join a team in EDP3 and she’s really excited.
I’m excited it doesn’t cost as much as Potomac lol. |
GA announcements seem to be happening on a rolling basis. It might be another week or two. |
And we are sure its GA ? |
They have ECNL boys, why would they apply to GA? |
