He's ready for his own statue. |
I mean, we also have the people who implemented generations of redlining, segregation, and discrimination that resulted in why Wards 7 and 8 are the way they are today to blame, but sure, you think whatever makes you feel less guilty. |
I'm a different poster, but, I'm not clear why I would feel guilty. I didn't and can't vote for him. |
plus the jews who control the weather. |
I guess it’s theoretically possible for the poster you are responding to be among those who contributed to “redlining, segregation, and discrimination”, but it’s not likely. How do you propose to reverse the effects of generations of redlining, segregation, and discrimination? |

Just stop. It's fine for Trump. |
Come on. I don't like Bowser, but I don't think she's corrupt. People who voted for Trayon hate Bowser. |
Trayon shows up at funerals and to kiss babies. That's it. |
That’s not true. He also: - perpetuates antisemitism and guarantees DC’s statehood bid cannot and will not be taken seriously by any administration. |
You forgot Ward 8’s virulent antisemitism, pushed by White himself . . . - oh wait: Ward 8 does not have anyone else to blame for that; they became antisemites all on their own. |
I’m not a DC voter but I like Trayon because he’s so hated by the white UMC virtue signaling snowflakes here. I wouldn’t vote for him if he were my council person, but I definitely understand why his constituents do. They don’t like most of y’all either, and they vote for him because it pisses off the white people in upper NW. |
This was not written by someone from here. No one in Ward 8 centers the UMC as a driver of their decisions, regardless of race. Federal job cuts, Medicaid cuts, SNAP cuts, housing cuts, energy subsidy cuts, these all impact all sides of the economic spectrum in Ward 8, a spectrum that includes the workers that administer programs, provide security and maintenance for the buildings , workers that clean them, workers at the cafes and restaurants that feed federal workers, bus drivers and mechanics... economies of scale. Trayon is from Ward 8 and knows people personally, and they understand how much business he has steered to Ward 8. |
+100 DC residents re- elected Marion Barry after serving federsl drug conviction and jail time. (Maybe that made him more relatable to his constituents). |
