He just announced he is running for Ward 8 council member in July. Heavily favored to win. If he wins, that is the end of home rule for 5-10 years and frankly, we have no one to blame but ourselves. The man is on video taking bribe for Christ's sake.

Well, you know, given the conduct of the NYC mayor, and our own President, his behavior is criminal, but also consistent with that of many other political leaders in our nation right now.

Trayon is a perfect reflection of the Bowser government.
They both are corrupt and inefficient, but they both keep winning election. The same people who votes for Trayon vote for Bowser.

The people in his ward love him. He will probably get re-elected even though there are qualified people running against him.

I'm not sure why the people of Ward 8 would re-elect a criminal and a moron to the city council. Trayon White is the poster child for the corrupt and deeply stupid leaders that progressives tend to elect. I fully expect a federal takeover of the city in the months ahead. DC voters are the gift that keeps on giving to the Republican Party.
