You don’t understand it’s just feed his base of just angry young men. The only way you could defend them is if you could pop the crypto bubble.

BTC dropped today to lowest of year. Fingers crossed it keeps dropping...

It’s no better than the fiat dollar. Bring back a gold standard!

The best way to counter Musk is to call your congress person.

Use the Five Calls app to do so.

I'm in the market so if anyone is so triggered that they can no longer drive their Tesla, let's start a Pre-Owned forum here as well.

From what I’ve read online you can easily buy a used Tesla. They depreciate fast because people don’t want them.

Current Tesla owner here. The funny thing is that I bet most Tesla owners vote blue, so now we are in a quandary. My DH wants to sell our (fully paid off) Tesla and buy a different EV. I think its more impactful to sell our Tesla stock. I fully expect used Tesla prices to come down as folks offload them.

You STILL have TSLA stock?? How is your Philip morris stock doing?

Oh get off your high horse. The car itself isn’t causing any harm. Yes the ceo is batsh$t crazy but the cars are great. If you drove one, you’d agree. Bet you still shop at Amazon, Walmart, and all the big boys that have such high morals. Quit targeting Tesla

The cars are nothing special today. Yes, when they first came out, they were great compared to the competition (or lack of in terms of the EV space), but that is simply not the case today. There are better options that the Model Y (only one I have driven). The Model Y has a meh interior, questionable build quality (from the perspective of fit and finish at least), and just is not a fun handling car (sure, 0 to 60 is great, but there is more fun to a car than 0 to 60...see the Mazda Miata, fun AF to drive even though 0 to 60 is not amazing).

There are better options, when we were buying last year we tried the Model Y, Mach E, Ioniq 5, EV6 and the ID4. Frankly, with the exception of the ID.4, the others were far better. They handled better, look more appealing (exterior) and were much nicer on the interior. They handled better too. The noise isolation was also better (ie not hearing the road/wind noise as much). If you are in the market for an EV, the Model Y does not make any sense compared to the competition since the competition is superior overall. The only benefit I can think of is the supercharger network, but frankly, that does not matter as much anymore because a) 90%+ of charging is done at home and b) Supercharger network is now open to other car makers.

Congress has zero say over Trump’s advisory panel.

When I was buying a car last summer you could get one for less than 25k, and that was before this disaster. Plenty of pre-owned on the market.

It IS a great car, with decent price tag (lower end one) I cannot imagine what would cause such a drop. And just like you I love my Tesla, but hate Musk.

60% of his wealth comes from Tesla. I know Telsa is a meme stock and not strictly based on fundamentals. Yet, the stock took off when it turned profitable. There has to be some semblance of a justification. Otherwise it would crash.

If Tesla sells less than 1 million cars this year (last year it sold 2 million). Its stock would almost certainly be down 60-80%.

Let us help get it sales down to 1 million.

Space X is a far smaller portion of his wealth and its market size is much more limited. The launch market is less than $20 billion. Even if SpaceX captures 100% and makes 50% net profit, it is only $10 billion earnings. Put 100x earnings it is yes $1 trillion, but we have assumed pretty unreasonable numbers that are not going to play out.

You take away one thing at a time. So lets try to make a dent in Tesla sales.

Wishing you all Feds good mental health and warm regards!

The other CEOs aren't gutting the federal government and acting like a king.
