I was just going to post these are the worst brands for fit. They are so uncomfortable. I prefer Lulu and Athleta for fit and durability. I just noticed I've been wearing the same 3/4 leggings for 13 years from Lulu and they are so out of style. Everyone now wears full length. They still look brand new. I'll hold onto them until that style comes back. |

OMG I have Lucy yoga pants that I bought 20+ years ago, too!!! They had a store in Union Station. I have two pairs left and I wear them all the time! |

Viori are the absolute best. So soft, so lovely to put on and get out of, make my butt look amazing, and so lovely to be in.
I work out daily. LLL for me feels like im putting on a torture device. Rough materials, so stiff to get in and out of, even their bras I’m like are women so worried about having good boob shape while working out that they need to wear this contorted contraption? I don’t get the appeal. |
You're wearing the wrong size if this is the case for you. I'm vanity sized clothing I'm a 2 and in LLL I wear a 6. |
No I wear the right size and they fit. It’s just the fabric isn’t nice. They are so worried about trying to sculpt women’s bodies into a athleisure-perfect body, that they’re just not nice to wear. Vuori feels like butter |
| I prefer Athleta leggings. Tops? I have no recommendations. The styles right now tend to be cropped, which I hate. I take barre classes, and I don't want that much bare flesh touching the floor and shared equipment. |
| Best leggings I ever had were from Fabletics, but they all eventually wore out and I never got any more. After that, it was Nike, which I really like for running. I recently bought some cheapies from Dick's and that was a horrible mistake. They are way, way to stretchy. |
Multiple threads on the LL’s insane sizing gaps: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1253036.page https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1122110.page https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/936661.page I’m an 8 regularly but find I fit a 6 bottom at LL; 4 top. |
I need a very high waist, non-compression as my trunk has gotten thicker. Do the Vioris meet that criteria? |
Yeah, definitely. I like the clean elevation and the all the feels. Clean elevation is my favorite and a little thicker. They both seem to hold stuff in without having the "wrapped in saran wrap" feeling of LLL. Mostly, though, they just feel really nice. I could wear them all day every day (but i don't). |
