Well here in Canada we were blindsided by a country that we thought were our friends, turning on us. So we have had free trade since the 1980s, Ronald Reagan times, and our manufacturing was decimated then. Now we are mocked by your leader with Americans in general joining in.

Like a guy from Los Angeles insulted us and we had sent firefighters to help fight their fires. And somehow we have to find a way going forward without you, with a lot of pain, because you can never ever be trusted again.

Well, to you I offer much of the province of Alberta (who might actually want to be a state), Mr. polivere, and maybe examples like former MPP and mayor Patrick Brown. For Brown, his Wikipedia page quite nicely outlines the sexual allegations against him. But of course, he was an MPP in a different area than he is now mayor so people aren’t worried.
