5 hours of sleep a night? How is that possible? I wish I could do that!

And how do you fit in having sex? I am usually just too tired but DH never is.

Bed by 11:30, sleep by 12, sometimes 12:30. Up at 7:30 3-4 days a week, 8:30 or 9 on the others. DH and I trade off getting up with our 2 yo. He's awesome.

I'll go to bed by 11pm and my alarm goes off at 6:30. I need a lot of sleep and this isn't enough so occasionally I'll nap on the weekend if my son is tired enough for one too. I sleep in a bit on the weekends too.

This describes me to a T! I always fall asleep immediately, but then after about 2-3 hours I wake up. Ugh! What is it like to sleep an entire night?

Asleep around 10:00 and up at 6:00. I have a hard time getting up and thinking clearly if it is less. If I take a muscle relaxer, it could easily be 8:30 or 9:00- 6:00. I sleep until 7:30 on weekends, no matter what time I go to bed.

Wow - that's only 5 hours! Do you then go to work, or do you stay home and hopefully catch up on sleep a bit? Or do you just not need that much sleep? I would be exhausted running on 5 hours every night.

I go to work. I'm at the office by just after 9 am, work until 4:30 pm, pick up the kids at their schools (after-care), do dinner, homework, evening activities, showers, bed, and then start doing a little more work around 9 pm until around midnight.

Peri-menopause helps. But seriously -- I've been doing this for close to 3 years now.

I have a stupid question. I work full time, gone from the house 48 hours a week if you include the commute, two school age kids, and I sleep for 8 hours each night. What are y'all doing up until 12 midnight or 1 am that interferes with a full night's sleep? Is it computer surfing, tv watching, chores?

I'm working. I'm salaried but certainly do not have 40 hours of work to get done each week -- it's far more.
