Many lawyers who attended a local law school where LSAT was optional and acceptance rate 95%, are making decent living in my area. |
You are an idiot (and sexist to boot) |
These are very low paying, aren’t they? |

-beauty stuff: I know a handful of women making comfortable livings doing hair (color especially), owning and/or operating businesses for beauty services like lash lifts and brow tints, medical grade skincare.
-military (that said some of the smartest people I know — and I have an “elite” academic degree are also in the military) -sales — real estate, services like pest control -teacher (in a higher paying district but reasonable col area) -dental hygiene, nursing, other mid-level medical |
Not if you progress to owning your own childcare centers. Obviously it takes time to get there but being a surgeon also takes decades plus. |
Sales sales sales |
Perhaps if you open a childcare center catering exclusively to wealthy families (who of course can afford private Nannies…so it’s a whole different level of competition). The vast majority of child care centers are barely break even and many are closing. |

It's a shame that as a parent/adult you haven't figured out the lack of relationship between work 'success' and academic performance. Some of the poorest performers I've seen have been 'Straight A' students their whole lives. I became a fan of 'knowing how to test, doesn't teach you how to work'.
If someone is quick and creative and willing to work hard - few things can hold them back. |

Sales - all kinds including
- real estate, especially commercial real estate in the right markets - recruiters/head hunters - account management - large company’s where you start entry level in marketing or customer service and tough it out and work yourself up into management |

It is very difficult to pass the GC license in our state. |
Also, GCs go bankrupt at an alarming rate. Many don’t really understand how long jobs will take, how to estimate job costs at a profit, how to manage subcontractors, etc. |
Generally that’s right, at least for BigLaw type lawyers that represent companies, but I know some really stupid lawyers who went to medocre schools but make a ton of money as plaintiffs side lawyers. I can’t explain the business model but they seem to be doing very well despite not being at all academically inclined. |
You still have to graduate college and law school…that’s 7 years of higher education that I gather OP’s kids aren’t capable of making it through. Yes, the wealthiest lawyers are all plaintiff’s attorneys that sue big tobacco or whatever and share in multi billion dollar settlements. But those are few and far between. |
