Generally that’s right, at least for BigLaw type lawyers that represent companies, but I know some really stupid lawyers who went to medocre schools but make a ton of money as plaintiffs side lawyers.  I can’t explain the business model but they seem to be doing very well despite not being at all academically inclined.

You still have to graduate college and law school…that’s 7 years of higher education that I gather OP’s kids aren’t capable of making it through.

Yes, the wealthiest lawyers are all plaintiff’s attorneys that sue big tobacco or whatever and share in multi billion dollar settlements.  But those are few and far between.[/quote]
