Uggs—what kind are popular with middle schoolers?

Tasmuns were very last year

Ultra mini are the way to go. The other ones were the hit last year so I don't think I would get those for this year because it will look dated for sure

As a school bus driver, I can tell you that the very popular Ugg or Ugg style boots are the ones that look like/are slippers or the very short ones like the 1st Zappos link, in THAT color.

The middle and HS girls wear it with socks, even during summer!! During summer with short shorts, and now with PJ pants.

If your child’s feet are no bigger than a women’s 8, you can buy the kids size for $30 less.

Where are you finding them this inexpensive?

I don't think PP meant $30. She meant the kids sizes are usually $30 less than whatever the adult version costs. I buy kids size 5 Uggs for my DD who also wears adult women's shoe size 6.5.

Correct. PP means that kids sizing in Uggs is about $30 LESS than adult sizing. Not $30 total. Kids Tasmans are actually $70 vs. $110, so $40 cheaper.

God forbid your 12 year old not have the "cool shoes". Private school mommas are just

Seriously cringe though, my teens prefer not to wear the same thing as everything else, it's super boring otherwise.
