Not in middle school. In middle school they all want the same thing. Its a developmental stage. |
You know nothing Jon Snow. Buy the Tasmans. |
| My 7th grader is getting Tasman for Christmas in the darker tan. |
| They also all wear the coquette Uggs |
I get it but they don’t all want the same thing, just a portion of them do. It’s not a developmental stage that’s necessary. There are so many of those basic beige shoes that maybe the OP can get a hint of what her daughter’s preference might be. |
| Tasman. They all want to wear slippers to school and look homeless. |
+1 |
Yeah, well, if she is a middle schooler, the ones "the majority has bought" are the ones that work for OP's daughter. |
| We don’t cave to peer pressure - not spending $100 on shoes she may grow out of. |
I don’t see how this is answering OPs question, but I guess you just wanted everyone to know that you don’t cave to peer pressure, so I hope you got whatever validation you needed from posting that to DCUM. |
+1 Things like this will depend on your child’s school/peer group. Look around at dropoff or pickup and see what the others seem to be wearing, or ask a local friend who has a daughter around the same age or a little older. |
| my 7th grader is asking for the ultra mini's...apparently they prefer shorter booties now. |
|
Is there a difference between the men’s and women’s Tasmans? They have DD’s size in men’s but not women’s.
Also, do boys (high school) also wear Uggs (Tasman)? |
| I would go with the Tasman, the ultra mini, classic mini, classic short, or classic tall. The popular height of these Uggs changes faster than these kids change their crew socks. But these are the main styles that will rotate in and out of style. |
Actually, because this is for a middle schooler and not older teen, stick to Tasman or ultra mini. |
