So what's your rationale for why the majority of white women (including myself) voted for Trump?
And no, I didn't cower to my husband. He's far more to the left than I am.
And I'm college educated to boot.

Amy number of reasons;

You don’t trust yourself or woman in power and want to have a daddy figure telling you want to do because it makes you more comfortable

You believed trump will help your business or help you economically

You want people deported even though you use their services all the time- from your produce to your lawn service to your nails

You are Christian and pro life and never had your life in jeopardy due to pregnancy issues so you think you are immune

You believe in RFKs crazy and want the pure healthy life you were painted by him
Tell us, why did you vote for trump?

This is so demeaning and ridiculous. I don't trust a woman in power? Really? What about all the super red conservative states that have had female governors, how do you explain that?

I'm not a Christian, I'm an atheist - and although marginally pro-choice (in reality I hate that term) I do have moral qualms about abortion and have no problem with Roe v. Wade being overturned and the decision going back to the states, although abortion is never something I base my vote on.

And no, I'm not into RFK's health beliefs and even got vacinated for Covid without hesitancy.

I do not like Trump, but I hate the crazy anti-common sense idiocracy that the left has morphed into and I finally couldn't stomach it anymore.

Serena Joy. There are so many Serena Joys. Reminds me of Phylis Schafley, who opposed the Equal Protection Amendment for women.

Equal Rights Anendment.

Actually, this is way worse than anything I wrote. Much more ridiculous.

In a fit of anger, you voted for more tariffs, worsening economic reality, against health care/medicaid, worsening health care for women (already in place in many states), forcing laborers out of the country and to lose social security benefits for many.

You also, in this angry state voted for a felon and rapist.

And you found my reasons demeaning.

Many of us are atheists, as was already posted. Do try to keep up.

Ok-so which of the “any number of reasons” was it? Or is there another one? That is very possible.
That is why I specifically said “any number of reasons”
If the pro life one and Christian wasn’t it- which reason do you identify with?

Many reasons have already been posted. None align to your nonsense. Try reading.

Anonymous wrote:I think it was a backlash against “white” college educated women more than anything. Look, people don’t like to be lectured and educated white women are known the lecture more than any other group.

I went to a state school and the probably 90 percent of the students were apolitical and just trying to have fun, finish and get a high paid job. Whatever “backlash” that is being imagined, it is not against the normal folks I knew who would spend Friday night doing keg stands and Saturdays in the library.

This thesis is hilarious to me as someone who went to school in the south. If you voted for Harris as an alum of my school you are for a blue haired weirdo with daddy issues, almost every educated woman I know voted Trump. OP I think this is a personal problem.

Yeah but the south has strict gender roles and a history of white man rule, so that makes sense.

Classic projection. I said none of that. Check yourself.

So being historically ruled why white men is bad?

While most of his ire was directed teachers unions and lawyers, he had a line in the essay validating Carville’s criticism.

The commentary isn’t only coming from the right.

Why do we attack underpaid teachers? Oh, right, so we are distracted and don’t attack the rich white male politicos like Carville.

They are sure good at pointing fingers away from themselves.

Why attack him? Go read his essay. He does partially read like an old guy who wakes up and wonders how and why the ground shifted beneath him. On the other hand, guys like Carville and Klein had one heck of a run the 90s. If your reflexive response is to dismiss him rather than at least read what he has to say, then I wish you good luck. You’re going to need it.
