Yes, as a college educated woman with two daughters, I decided to issue a backlash against women.

The toxic male continues to be elevated.

I feel sorry for the young daughters of Trump voters.

The college educated ones are the ones pushing the wildly misogynist gender ideology, so it’s a little hard to be fully sympathetic here.

Racism was trumped by sexism showing that even men of color do not believe women can wield power,

It also solidified power in the hands of a select few billlionairs.

Maybe Taylor Swift and MacKensie Bezos will start spending their billions to take over truth social .

So what's your rationale for why the majority of white women (including myself) voted for Trump?
And no, I didn't cower to my husband. He's far more to the left than I am.
And I'm college educated to boot.

Amy number of reasons;

You don’t trust yourself or woman in power and want to have a daddy figure telling you want to do because it makes you more comfortable

You believed trump will help your business or help you economically

You want people deported even though you use their services all the time- from your produce to your lawn service to your nails

You are Christian and pro life and never had your life in jeopardy due to pregnancy issues so you think you are immune

You believe in RFKs crazy and want the pure healthy life you were painted by him
Tell us, why did you vote for trump?

While most of his ire was directed teachers unions and lawyers, he had a line in the essay validating Carville’s criticism.

The commentary isn’t only coming from the right.

Why do we attack underpaid teachers? Oh, right, so we are distracted and don’t attack the rich white male politicos like Carville.

They are sure good at pointing fingers away from themselves.

Why? Because they voted for an extremely toxic male who was found liable for sexual abuse. Not to mention years and years of accusations of sexual harassment/misconduct. What does that say? Continuing to put men like that in power. It’s a disgrace.

np Why don't you tell us? Trump and his cronies still haven't signed any transition agreements. Does that mean they don't want to follow normal legal rules that our country was founded on?

Be sure to educate your daughters. Get them to understand the value of a solid career path so they can put food on the table, put a roof over their heads, have access to medical care and raise a family if they desire.
Hopefully they find themselves a wonderful partner but do not depend financially on a partner. ever.

I think it was a backlash against “white” college educated women more than anything. Look, people don’t like to be lectured and educated white women are known the lecture more than any other group.

Many of us are atheists, as was already posted. Do try to keep up.

Serena Joy. There are so many Serena Joys. Reminds me of Phylis Schafley, who opposed the Equal Protection Amendment for women.

Ok-so which of the “any number of reasons” was it? Or is there another one? That is very possible.
That is why I specifically said “any number of reasons”
If the pro life one and Christian wasn’t it- which reason do you identify with?

To me it's gaslighting to hear men claim that colleges are indoctrination centers and that young women are radicalized and need to be deprogrammed.

It's like the social media pundits on the right have successfully learned how to DARVO, turn it all around, deny centuries of women having no rights, and women are believing it.

So when you say “college educated women” do you just imagine that all women that go to college are like Daria and you just exclude the ones like Bama Rush?

And your sons. Teach your kids what it is to be a responsible adult and help them achieve it. Pay no mind to people trashing the value of getting education.
