Tweens and Teens
| The girls think that they are cute but they are awkward, too. It’s middle school years! The kids are growing up. |
OP here. This actually didn't happen at the mall but I changed the place to protect the boy. I am such a good person .
|
Yes. The worst part is that the girls are extremely interested in boys but the offerings are so meager. |
Not necessarily. DD sits next to a "boy who looks like a baby" in one of her classes. Not unattractive necessarily, just very short and immature. The boy constantly makes sexual comments to not only her but also the teacher. He made a number of very adult, mean comments to a number students. |
| Well, I am shocked that all the girls are so short (I'm 5'9" and all of them are under my chin, have not met one that isn't) and most are bigger than me already in middle school (I'm 125 lbs and some are yuge!). I don't know where all these so-called attractive girls are. Boys at least are skinny. |
| Not really, ours is so handsome and such a good kid. He’s lovely and good looking. Smells great and beautiful skin too. |
| Are you all aliens? I’m so confused by how confused people so often are here. Basic knowledge of biology, lacking. Goodness. No wonder we are where we are. |
| My Ms son is adorable. I don't know what you are talking about. |
| I feel like this is such a mean thread. At no time did I ever think all these kids are ugly. |
| And this is where it begins that some guys expect the women in their lives to look better than them and they have no qualms expecting to be punching above their weight. |
|
I find all children are lovely because they have the bloom of youth and hope. It’s so sad you, as an adult, can’t see that, and it’s terrible parenting to encourage your daughter’s extremely narrow notions on beauty.

They were really cute when my kids were MS age.
Now late HS/college. |
| Say what now? You need a hobby. There is a whole world out there with more interesting things to think about. |
| They're all awkward and goofy. Girls, boys, it doesn't matter. And thank goodness for that! They're all to young to be thinking about dating and sex! I don't need my kids having sex in middle school. |
Despite appearances, a lot of them are thinking about dating and sex. |
