My entire life everyone has said social security would be cut but the last time there was a serious proposal no one went for it. Wish I could have kept part of it in an account like bushes plan. That would be worth a mint 20 years later. |
Exactly. |
if condescension is the reason democrats lost then republicans aren't that smart. Can you imagine voting for the other guy because your feelings were hurt? |
Nothing will change significantly. He will spend most of the time making himself and his friend richer. |
Dp. If you think it’s about “hurt feelings”, then you’re not the smart one. |
An oxymoron? |
I love how liberals are gleeful at the thought of their fellow citizens suffering as if they're magically shielded in their bubble of superiority and privilege from the negative effects of Trump's policies.

You lost an election to an idiot.
Chew on that for a bit. Next time try not losing an election to an idiot by outstupiding him. Illegal immigration was entirely a self inflicted wound. Taking a side on the trans issue was a self inflicted wound. All that wokeness was a self inflicted wound. Do better next time and stop letting idiots win elections. |
Has Trump ever said what he'd do to lower prices? He doesn't seem to have a plan. He doesn't even have concepts of a plan. |
No one mocks people for having trouble affording groceries. Democrats are mocking the fact that people who can’t afford groceries voted for a charlatan who not only has no plan for reducing the price of groceries, but who lacks a basic understanding of most issues and doesn’t care about poor people, and who heads the political party that tells people to lift themselves up by their own bootstraps and gives tax cuts to the rich, pretending that wealth will trickle down. They literally voted for the government least likely to help them. |
+1 |
Well, what has Biden done to address the concerns of these people other than to tell them the economy is doing well? |
And so everyone voted for him even though he was ineffective |
I think we're learning that onshoring is a good idea instead of constantly persuing lost cost labor. See the CHIPs act. If you contract out your manufacturing to a rival, they can exploit your industries. This is something that both parties need to learn and start putting american workers first. It will hurt tremendously to do so, but we will likely be better off in 20 years. |
