I have heard him speak of taking action to end DEI based admissions programs at colleges that receive federal tax dollars. That’s not “reparations”. That’s just ending the race based admissions discrimination practices of most US colleges.

I've been a Democrat my whole life but the horrible behavior of Democrats towards Asians in the affirmative action debate has shaken my confidence that there is a place for Asians in the Democratic party in anything other than a subservient role.
I still vote Democrat instead of Republican because I remember the 1970s but I'm not so sure the Republicans are the lesser of two evils anymore.
