Yale for sure.

Probably Northwestern and Princeton too.
I'm not sure what's going on with Duke.
If Duke has created a huge preference for North Carolinians then their numbers might make sense.

If we know what the numbers should look like then any statistically significant deviation from those numbers should be investigated.

We have a 350+ year history of enslaving blacks, torturing and abusing them, lynching them, using them for free labor, denying them education, holding them back economically, denying them loans, denying them equal employment and promotion opportunities and so on, some of which still continues to this day. And not one single MAGA gives a shit or believes they deserve any restitution for that whatsoever.

Yet here we have some mostly-imaginary "DEI" and not any credible economic analysis showing whites have suffered any meaningful or lasting economic harm yet now he's out there yelling for restitution and reparations for these white victims. So typical.

Self-unaware hypocrisy. Pathetic.

Except he never said any of that. And plenty of Asians were victims of DEI policies. But do continue to gaslight.

Why does he need to say anything regarding this matter? Anyone who is discriminated against by a college accepting applications based on anything other than merit can and should sue the college the same way a mortgage lender can be sued for approving or not approving applications based on gender or ethnicity or marital status. We all know this and we don't need our dimwit president-elect pointing that out.

This is not how civil rights are advanced. The justice department and legislation usually gets involved. A random lawsuit here and there are meaningless, nothing short of a federal crackdown on federal funding and non-profit status would do the trick.

If Trump can get these colleges and universities to stop racially discriminating against asians, I will take back everything I ever said about him and vote Republican the rest of my life and teach my children and their children to be conservative Republicans. But I think the earth will fall into the sun before these schools stop discriminating. They think they are on the side of the angels and willingly die on that hill.

Are you suggesting that our colleges and universities are discriminating against Asians within their applicant acceptance protocols? That's sounds absurd. I went to college with lots of Asians. Citations to support your claim?

You missed the entire part of the Harvard lawsuits where Asians were judged much more 'harshly' on their character scores. They were cited as basically being 'too quiet and therefore likely not to succeed on a team environment', 'not funny', and other racist trope BS that was used to evaluate and reject them rather than basing it off their aptitude.

Imagine rejecting an African American student because the interviewer wrote down "likely to be too loud and will disrupt class". There would be outrage at that racist stereotype. Yet that's what happened to Asian students at some of these schools.

I'm not calling you a liar but you need a cite reference source that can corroborate such a bizarre and awful happening.

Keep up.

Asians consistently scored the lowest almost across the board on 'personal ratings', which is basically used to reject them:

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/15/us/harvard-asian-enrollment-applicants.html

The folks that met the Asian candidates in person gave them good ratings but the "personal committee" who DO NOT meet the Asian candidate gave them bad scores on "likeability, courage, and kindness". Wut? It's one thing to rate a single person on those metrics, but when an entire group looks like they're consistently scoring the lowest for those kinds of subjective metrics, it entirely looks like racial discrimination based on flimsy BS like "likeability".

A lot of us have experienced it in college -

First-generation Asian tiger moms turning their kids into little drill-and-kill robots who completely lack authentic personality because they never had time to grow as anything other than overachieving academic test takers.

And there it is.

How do you explain the fact that alumni interviewers do not seem to see a difference in personal ratings between races?

...I bet that if US kids applied to schools in Asia, there would be tons of bias in the form of "overly sensitive", "excitable", "loud". Asians expect Americans to get used to their personalities when in fact, they would never tolerate our kids.

No you fcktard. The alumni interviewers scored asians exactly the same as other students but the admissions committee that never even met them gave asians significantly lower scores.

They did...did....did do that but they aren't any more. Let's talk about unsolved problems.

They are using new and improved methods of racial discrimination.

We know what the racial breakdown should be without racial preferences because they TOLD us what it would be without racial preferences.
This year's admission numbers are not close.

So...sue the heck our of them and be done with it. Yawn, next story

Well, we are suing them.

But the racial discrimination continues. I am sorry that you find racial discrimination by our country's institutions is boring to you.

By the numbers above, Asian students are hugely overrepresented. What is the proposal?

I think the proposal generally is to sue the schools until they stop discriminating against asians. Hopefully the trump administration will jump in and revoke their tax exempt status and withhold federal funding.

The asian enrollments are already disproportionately high and rising. Sure doesn't seem like discrimination against asians to me.

Trump said white people were the ones being discriminated against, not asians.

Discrimination is discrimination regardless of who the victim is. We don't need our pea-brain POTUS-elect pointing this out to us in order for it to fact.

Trump logic: "Asians are being discriminated against!" -> give white people reparations for discrimination against asians and never actually solve the issue.

You can be over-represented and discriminated against. In fact we are being discriminated against mostly because we are over-represented.

I am hopeful that he will investigate the admissions policies of these colleges and revoke tax exempt status for any violators.

The best way to get white women hopping mad is to exclude them from the best professional schools.

Revoke their school charter as well.
