How was this adult man able to get into girls restrooms with these students and not get called out by someone at the school?

FCPS needs to start taking girls safety in private spaces like restrooms and locker rooms more seriously. An adult male should never have access to girls bathrooms on a school campus.

According to multiple articles he was taking pictures of young fcps female students who were using the restroom.

He should never have had access to girls bathrooms.

Not one person at multiple FCPS schools noticed an adult male going into an elementary school girls bathroom?

Why did this not raise any flags anywhere?

Is our district truly that numb to what should be an obvious boundary?

Baroody is a pretty reputable local smalll business so I’d be shocked if this guy were a direct hire of theirs. Sounds more likely he was a subcontractor as in working with an afterschool program that baroody brings in. Each of those companies is supposed to be background check screening their employees and verifying that to Baroody but if this guy is a first time offender/hasn’t been caught before then this wouldn’t have been flagged on a background check.
Lots of companies and individual PTAs bring in afterschool companies like the one this guy worked for. Parents need to be vigilant.

Yep. Sloppy oversite imo. They need to get out in front of this and do immediate damage control.
Overtime Athletics offers lots of programs and is hired by PTAs directly as well as by Baroody and by Flex Academies in fcps. But if I were their owner I’d be putting out a press release and doubling down on policies that never have a staff member alone with a child.
