Their age difference is becoming more visible. He’s looking like a Peepaw compared to her.

Yes. He looks every bit his age at this point. Though I respect he didn’t do what Brad did and go for the severe face lift. Yikes Brad.

Wannabe fake couple. Take a seat the Clooneys.

The elephant in the room about this couple is despite the rhapsodizing about how awesome they are and how accomplished he is and how it is an example of how men preferred smart women- she is a good two decades younger than he is. A classic case of a man going for a much younger woman. In this case she basically is a grand dad loved. And they both are so self important.

How do you start this thread and don't even include a link to a photo?

She has always loved fashion even before she got with George though obviously she has been able to upgrade her clothes and beauty since marrying him. But she was a glamourous London barrister with a high profile before him. It's not like she was wearing Ann Taylor and the pearls her parents gave her for graduation. She was probably regularly the most glamorous person in the room even before marrying a movie star.

This and her bestie, Samantha Barry, runs Glamour mag.

She has one of those faces that, as she ages, looks more masculine, manly. Not aging well, not matter how great her body looks. And what's with the dark circles under her eyes? She has better glam team than that.

It looks dry and frizzy, she desperately needs a hair mask.

Please define wannabe strivers

He is a lightweight coasting on his looks who wants to be a political heavyweight. She did some good humanitarian work in her youth and is now a sell out coasting on her husbands fame. They use each other and are cringe worthy.

What exactly are they “striving” to be? George is the epitome of an A-list Hollywood star with clout. The two of them are reasonably intelligent and thoughtful (go watch him sometime on a long-form non-movie press junket interview) and I’m pretty sure that when anyone gets a call saying “George Clooney” is calling they pick up and answer. The power dynamic is in their favor. Clooney’s op-ed was seen as one of the determining factors in the push to remove Biden.

You can not like his politics or his movies, but your assessment sounds like you are the epitome of a “hater” and you think you’re so edgy and superior by sitting at your keyboard and using words I’m not even sure you really know what they mean.

So they’re not your cup of tea. But wherever you are you would be “striving” to get where they are.

+1 I don't love them but talk about A-list, rich and influential, wow.

I am a hater. I used to be a groupie just like you guys but his op ed turned me off. I just haven’t seen him and her in the same light since.

The lights were too harsh. But don't worry - she'll soon have lower lid bleph surgery for people like you.
