I'm her age with similar coloring. Only in the last year has my hair greyed enough that I felt the need to do something about it. Instead of permanent color, my stylist recommended a demi-permanent wash in a slightly lighter color. It looks like highlights, but it's just covering my greys. I think that's a common approach in our 40s for those of us with darker hair and skin color.

I had to look up her age and was shocked to see that she’s only 48!! I thought she was 10 years older.

I thought it was hilarious when people were falling over themselves to say how "age appropriate" she was too. Like maybe in Hollywood 17 years is nothing, but that's a lot!

Keanu and his gf are age appropriate. George Clooney is a cradle snatcher and Amal a granddad lover. I remember the impassioned discussion about how she was proof men like smarts and I was thinking hello.. she is a baby compared to him.

George Clooney wants to fancy himself a power broker but the buck ends politically here. They used him to bring down Biden and don’t be surprised if suddenly they find themselves out of the spotlight.

Granddad is a bit far fetch. It is too much of an aged difference for me, but 17 years makes GC a teenage father to Amal, not granddad.

Uhm no. People are whigged out about ten years. 17 years is a huge age difference. She is in her forties and he is in his sixties. Just because she is a lawyer doesn’t negate that.

i mean, let's face it - once you reach your 40s-50s, you just don't know what health stuff is in store for you. even if you marry someone your exact age, you can have some unpleasant bodily surprises.

Agreed and also wealthy people carry age easier. Better healthcare and better diets and less stress and more vacation and downtime. Yes 17 years is a big age gap but it's not like Amal is going to wind up changing George's diapers when he's infirm -- they are rich AF and will be able to afford in-home care.

Still telling she wasn’t able to be with an age appropriate guy who is rich wealthy and famous. She had to go for granddad. I would be seriously envious if it was the former but in this case good luck to her.
