Totally reasonably priced with lots of activities that were included or really affordable. It borders Rocky National Park in Colorado set on 860 acres. We went fly fishing, indoor and outdoor rock climbing/high ropes adventure, played tennis, hiked, etc.

I would love it if other people listed places that were under $300 a night.

+1 this place looks amazing! thanks for sharing

Maybe you should start your own thread rather than hijack OP’s.

They didn’t hijack, they gave a completely reasonable answer to OP’s question.

ooh great one! Colorado in the summer is a bargain in general and a direct shorter flight from DC. does the YMCA have a pool?

I think any amount of time would be fun. It is such a unique experience for a hotel.

We usually spend all day in the parks so I’m thinking that we would want the day at Animal Kingdom to be a full rest day. So that means two nights I think. Maybe a good plan would be arrive the day we do AK, then next day is rest day, then check out.

My kids love the George Washington hotel in Winchester. The pool is “fancy”, they say. And a one bedroom suite which makes them feel like royalty is like, 160 a night during the week haha. You can walk to the pedestrian mall, kids science center , fountains etc. You’re welcome.

This sounds awesome!

Our kids loved the Spruce Point Inn in Maine. Not cheap but also not "fancy." They loved being free to roam.
