dp.. well, I certainly don't want rural people deciding our elections. What happened to majority rules? |
Also, good chance that GA goes blue. If Trump continues his craziness, which he will. Wyoming may be the only state he wins. He has a sentencing hearing on Sept. and I think he is going to get some jail time and he will go off the deep end then |
So what do you say to the GOP who voted down the border policy? |
Where's Florida? With all the retirees there and 2025 advocating getting rid of SS and Medicare. FL goes Blue. |
Not after the vote counts are stopped, that’s for sure. And we have to make sure there is a software glitch Election Day. |
Without the electoral college there would be no winner take all dynamic in states, so Republicans would campaign in California and Texas, Democrats would campaign in Texas and Florida, and every state’s voters would be in play. |
What? No. Not if we win. |
Those old people know they would grandfathered if there are changes to SS, so they don't care |
|
Why is that any worse than Pennsylvania and Michigan deciding? |
What are you talking about ??? The whole area of greater Detroit is crawling with arabs. |
Florida also has a ballot referendum on abortion but I still don’t trust it any more than I can throw it. |
Once Texas turns blue in a decade or so all the Republicans will be in a long line to get rid of the electoral college. |
|
I know I’m preaching to the choir here but holy sh*t the Electoral College is so so stupid. For example, in 2016 Hillary Clinton won DC by 270,000 votes and Donald Trump won Florida by 113,000 votes. Yet Clinton got just 3 EC votes out of DC and Trump got 29 from Florida. How does that make sense?
I swear, one day the “winning” candidate is going to lose the popular vote by 100 million votes and the U.S. will be plunged into civil war as a result. We need to get rid of the EC as soon as possible. |
This meme is ignorant. The presidential primaries and caucuses elected delegates to the national convention, as always. The delegates vote to nominate the Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees. This is the process if a candidate withdraws and releases his delegates. |
