As intelligent as MAGAs devoted to a convicted rapist and felon. |
Just think about this for a moment: We are creating a weapons manufacturing economy. That money could be spent creating investing in projects/organizations in the healthcare or education or infrastructure sectors instead. However, under the Biden admin we have made an alternative choice: investment in weapon manufacturers richer. Is this really what you want? And the alternative is not sending American solders overseas. It’s understanding we should invest in our sphere of influence and let other countries across the sea do the same. Did you know that China has funded a 24/7 Library in El Salvador? Imagine if we invested in things like that in Latin and South America. Not only would it win hearts and minds it would also make it less compelling for illegal immigrants to cross our borders. This is who we are paying: https://www1.salary.com/LOCKHEED-MARTIN-CORP-Executive-Salaries.html https://www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/who-we-are/leadership-governance/frank-st--john.html#:~:text=Follow%20on%20LinkedIn-,Frank%20St.,(COO)%20for%20Lockheed%20Martin. You can see from the end of his bio that he won an award for improvement to precision airstrike attacks. Oh goodie - we are enriching the person whose life’s work is responsible for killing thousands (hundreds of thousand) people. I don’t think this policy choice of Biden’s is a winning one. He’s now lost me on the we must protect democracy too (bc clearly he is not in charge and it’s his advisors running things, that’s not democracy). So the only thing left for me is his stance on keeping government hands off my body. However, I’m not sure he can really move the needle on this (the SC justices will cling on). |
Trump is a performer. Nonsense? Maybe by your definition, but I call it an embellishment of the truth. Kind of like exaggerating when you tell a story at a party. I am not a fan of Trump, but between the two, he's more competent for the job. Biden will not make it through his next term, if not to election day. It is a steep slope when you decline at that age. |
The slope turns into a cliff, and then a pit. |
People were calling me a maga troll here when I said Biden would never win due to his age here months ago. I’ve voted blue for 30 years. |
Though I’d argue that 30 years makes me a diehard. I’m just more open to change (in the party) and want more for Dems. |
Democrats bully their own to subvert elections. Stop letting them do that to you. Register as an independent and vote your conscience. That’s what I did. |
I don’t support Trump, but he’s not a convicted rapist. He was tried civilly. Had he been convicted criminally, he would be in jail or at least on probation. Rape is a violent offense. |
Exactly. I have my attention on several people who are or have been mentioned as potential nominees during the primaries. I voted for one of them this year, unlike people with a herd mentality. |
This will be my first election in which I haven’t voted for the Democratic nominee in the general election since the first election I voted in. But obviously to the Democratic establishment, I don’t count and don’t matter. |
Excuses, excuses. Typical MAGA. |
Me too. OP a bunch of people watched the debate and decided to go for Biden, something the media isn’t focusing on as it’s not part of their narrative. Trump lied (and admitted to treason again) throughout. Who wants that chaos wagon back? |
"a bunch of people watched the debate and decided to go for Biden"
I don't buy this. There's no logic in this assertion. -Biden 'supporter' |
I was an independent for years, but you can’t vote for the mayor in DC as an independent as it’s often picked in the primary. No GOP candidate. So, DH and I changed registration. I’ve railed against people voting for Trump as the end justifying the means, and I don’t want to be a hypocrite. I’m furious that my GenZ kids don’t want to vote, and one will be in a swing state. We ignore them at our own peril. |
