I think the larger problem is being missed here: that we are all susceptible to images we see primarily via social media that can be edited selectively and distributed worldwide in minutes. Any person or group with an agenda can do this and have an oversize influence on shaping public opinion. In the old days, it was often images in Life or Times magazines or in newspapers that captured the public attention and helped to shape government policies--now it's all kinds of s**t on Youtube, TikTok, FB, etc. The main difference is the amount of stuff we're exposed to and its lightening-speed dissemination. We are really doomed since most people lack critical thinking skills, believe what they hear/see if they're already prone to believing it, and will not take the time to fact check what they see or hear.

No, it takes very specific and special skills to edit and insert realistic images in video. It is easy to tell that most video has been faked. The very very good fakes are not believable or common, ie, Jen Psaki and KJP kissing.

There wasn’t anything faked or manipulated in the G7 video. If Biden would have stayed with the other VIPs while they watched the soldiers land and had the VIP photo taken, none of this would even be an issue. He’s the problem.

In that screenshot, ALL of the G7 leaders are milling around aimlessly, all pointed in totally different directions, looking at whatever random things, doing whatever random things. EVERY one of them.

Yet for some reason we're all supposed to single out Biden and be distressed and concerned or something at him for turning and acknowledging the paratroopers in appreciation for the jump they just did.

To me, Biden looks the same in both. The other leaders look a little different. Pink suit has different left arms. Dark suit toward the end is also different. Photo has definitely been altered but I don’t see they the image of Biden has been changed. Not sure what that means either way.

You are just making stuff up. The soldier did not stand and salute Biden or give him a thumbs up. All you have to do is post a screenshot of what you are claiming. That soldier was on the ground packing his chute as well. Nobody stood at attention for Biden.

He wound up his chute and is on his knees waiting for the other soldier to wind up his chute. He’s looking at Biden. But the that is the only interaction they had.
