I am a disabled Veteran, my spouse is a retired Military member, our son is an active duty Marine.

If you think that commanders give a speeches on stage in front of troops, with their wives present (Jill was standing right beside him) and other commanders present, and call their soldiers stupid bastards because they didn’t clap for something, you were a toxic leader that everyone probably hated. Military members do curse and insult each other constantly, but not during formal events with VIPs and spouses present. You know that’s true. Nobody is going to show their ass like that during a VIP event.

I watched the full "dumb bastards" video. The soldiers clearly had a good time throughout. Not a single one of them appeared to be as upset and insulted as our phony poster here is. And not a single one of them ever spoke out in dismay during or after. I'll take their word over that of the phony poster.
