You say this like there are no bad people/snotty people/full of themselves rich people in West Virginia and I am here to tell you that yes, yes there are. *I love her, my husband knows her, she's really nice, but there are definitely non-humble people in WV |

JLo doesn’t strike me as the most academically concerned parent. I can see Jennifer Garner volunteering for the PTA or at a college counselor school meeting. |

This has been going on forever. Does anyone think Jodi Foster and Brooke Shields truly outshone other applicants? Celebs and their kids just need to meet minimums. |
| I’m surprised, only because CMU isn’t top-ranked for fashion. |
Just pointing out that she is smart. |
Yes. Probably wouldn’t have gotten in on her own but does sound qualified. |
| Didn’t a lot of celebrity kids get into UC schools due to the “varsity blues” back door deals? |
Agree. One told me he owns a yacht and went to a fancy boarding school. His posturing was gross. Like a peacock. |
I think Varsity Blues involved the private schools like USC and Stanford. However, Reese Witherspoon’s daughter and Julia Roberts twins all go to Berkeley. |
| The Stranger Things boy goes to Penn. Rob Lowe’s boys went to Stanford. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s kid to Stanford. Sarah Jessica Parker’s kid to Brown. Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones kids to Brown. Katie Couric’s kids to Yale. It is on and on. Isn’t this part of the reason people want to send their kids to these places? To be ELITE. |
Pretty sure that if you using “anyways” you aren’t that familiar with good colleges. |
Jodie Foster? Absolutely. She was nominated for an Oscar at age 14 and was fully fluent in French after attending a French immersion school in LA. I think it is well known and discussed that she was a highly gifted child. Unless you think an Oscar nomination doesn’t really “count” as a national level award since it isn’t STEM related. |
