Women half-naked in pseudo workout gear shopping at Whole Foods?

Thanks for dropping your stinky stanky sweat on the food.

Trust me she thinks she's so hot everyone wants to see it. Nope, she's just an old woman trying to look 18 and she just looks desperate.

I'm trying to imagine where you'd be coming to and from dressed like that, then just decide to pop into Whole Foods. I have seen it both in the city and in a boring suburban Whole Foods - a long ways from LA or Miami! They are dressed like a Kardashian doing a raunchy photo shoot - but they're out in public at a freakin' grocery store walking around with boobs barely covered!

From another thread:

I saw this yesterday at WF and wondered w-t-f was wrong with the 20-something gal. Boobs were popping out. So tacky.

Maybe it's partly due to celebrities wearing see through clothes to events.

And they all drive blacked out SUVs or white SUVs with black wheels. And they're always on Facetime while walking into Whole Foods. It's a whole production.

Lol. I did not realize until you wrote this that this is absolutely the scenario I see played out all the time. Thanks for the laugh.

Sorry, OP. As a society we simply have zero standards anymore. Even the seemingly inoffensive suggestion that one should wear actual clothes in public is met with outraged, over-dramatic, non-sensical cries about hating women and policing women’s bodies.

I personally find it sad that a large percentage of modern American women seem to think women’s rights is about the right to display your tits and ass anywhere and everywhere.

when you were 20 did you only wear what your parents and grandparents found acceptable?

Quit going into public settings half naked. It's not trendy, it's wildly inappropriate.

Isnt the rule - no shirt, no shoes no service? As long as shes got a top and shoes on, you have no right to say whats inappropriate or not.

We all notice what other people are wearing. That's part of the point of clothes.

Also it's the job of the youngs to scandalize the olds with their attire.

As a middle aged person myself - I do def notice how little people wear out and about. I don't really get outraged about it - but it just seems like, I don't know, wouldn't you be more comfortable wearing an actual shirt? I guess not, though!

Anonymous wrote:I assume they are desperate for attention. You don’t have a shirt or hoodie you can throw over yourself? Would you come to my house for dinner wearing this? How about fly on an airplane? Wear this to your kids school? No, because it would be inappropriate.

We all acknowledge wearing clothing is expected by society. We don’t wear bikinis to the grocery store. But these “workout” outfits are just as revealing.

Dinner at your house no, because that is more formal. But lunch? sure. And the rest, sure.

You aren't society. The rest of society seems fine with people wearing these, as do the people who wear them. Stop being insecure about your body, I'm sure your DH loves you as you are. You dont need to compare yourself to the hotties wearing cute outfits.

I'm in Dubai right now and this evening I saw multiple young women walking outside in skintight shorts and a sport bra. I saw multiple young women walking around in the Dubai Mall in mid-thigh backless dresses. This seems to be something that arrived here with the recent flood of Russian expats. Anyway, if this is now a thing in Dubai, it can't be all that unusual in the US?

A few days ago I saw a woman in flesh colored scrunch butt leggings. I am a woman, and I almost blushed looking at her beautiful ass in those shorty leggings. I can only imagine these are being worn for major attention seeking.

I don’t shop at WF but this is what I’ve been noticing around the neighborhood. Just a sports bra and spandex bottoms of varying length is the full outfit, not clearly exercising, or on the way to or from exercising.

The problem, I think, is that they are wearing bras as shirts. So, no shirt.

I see the matching sets in Whole Foods all the time because I’m near a college campus. I don’t mind them at all. I’m surprised people are so fussy.

It doesnt specify how long the shirt has to be...
