Women half-naked in pseudo workout gear shopping at Whole Foods?

Is this a fashion trend for 20-somethings I'm not aware of? Is this taking athleisure to the very extreme? Do these women have jobs? I'm trying to imagine where you'd be coming to and from dressed like that, then just decide to pop into Whole Foods. I have seen it both in the city and in a boring suburban Whole Foods - a long ways from LA or Miami! They are dressed like a Kardashian doing a raunchy photo shoot - but they're out in public at a freakin' grocery store walking around with boobs barely covered!

I saw this yesterday at WF and wondered w-t-f was wrong with the 20-something gal. Boobs were popping out. So tacky.

OP, I just spit my water reading your post. Just this morning, I made the same observation after stopping into Whole Foods in Annapolis. I mean, I don't care how other people dress, but the temperature was under 75 degrees at the time and I was wondering why wearing a tee shirt wouldn't be more comfortable. Clearly it's a choice.

This is comical on the heals of the swimsuit thread. Every middle aged generation is shocked by the relative nudity of 20yo women. Remember the outrage over yoga pants as pants? But we as 20 something women decided leggings were fine, middle aged pearl clutches be damned. And now you want to draw the line at what we did and say the next generation can’t push the envelope any further?
