How do you feel about a version like this:

It could be a more sophisticated option for times when you want that. |

| I actually want very casual. Something suitable for road trips and sightseeing. My DH and DS's dress very casually, so I need to tone down any dresses so I don't like look I'm off to a ball while they're in cargo shorts. |

I feel like I’m pretty stylish. I see nothing wrong with leggings under dresses and I totally get how comfortable they are. Tights are the worst! I choose black dresses with black cotton tights (not the shinier athletic fabric). I wear boots or shoes that cover the top of the tights and make them look more seamless.
Leggings and dresses were my uniform while pregnant. I refused to wear pants and hated anything tight on my stomach. |

OP this is a better look than what you posted. I do think you don't need dresses with leggings a oversized shirt would look better belted or not. The dress idea is odd and out of style. There are so many beautiful leggings outfits for us full-figured gals. Seriously check out Amazon influncers online they have some adorable stuff and looks to copy. |
