This was my thought too. The twitter post almost seemed comical, like something you'd see in a movie. |
My son, an LJ student, said "everyone knows the IG post is a bad joke about the bathroom graffiti." )He said it was on IG first and then copied to X/Twitter. |
AAP is a bubble wherever you go. The regular kids though are a different story. I feel bad for those who have to go there but aren’t AAP. |

Even though the IG and X post reads as a joke, why did this still did not get any news coverage? |

The matter is serious enough to not be discounted as a joke. Heck the school sent out 3 notifications already because of this. |
Hate to be political about it but is it possible that left wing outlets ignored it because FCPS leans left and right wing outlets ignored it because of gun control? |
I feel sad about the numerous grammatical and spelling errors in the threat.
We are truly failing our kids when they can't send out a well worded threat. |
True. And aren't such failed kids the ones so messed up, that they could possibly carry out their poorly worded and grammatically incorrect threat? |
Anyone know why the other thread discussing this is now gone? |
It’s hit the news at least:

Oh thank goodness. I feel so much better about this situation now. Hopefully NBC4 and the other news outlets will cover it, too. |
A note just came out from the principal that the threat has been mitigated. |
What does "mitigated" mean in this context? This concerns me: "the threat has been mitigated. as a result, there is no threat to the school at this time." This makes it sound like there was an actual threat (as opposed to a prank). The choice of words is worrisome. |
