I secretly use my wife’s skin care products. Think she’ll get mad if she finds out?

OP is just posting as bait now. He sounds like an insecure cheapskate who can't walk up to the "scary" person working the cosmetics counter or at Sephora to ask for the products he wants.

Clearly this is not real. It's like deoderant troll lol. It's okay Mer-man!

The women posting are nuts and just mad they have fat ugly husbands.

I sound reactionary trollish saying that, but it’s true.

DH has never been super into face creams but I tend to offer stuff to him that was a fail for me (I have sensitive skin and lots of stuff is a hard nope for me, his skin is genetically easy). He doesn’t use all of it, but has settled over the years on doing a Clinique moisturizer and night time eye cream, as well as daily tret. I mean, who wants to look old?!?

I guess I might be annoyed if he was using up my products and not replenishing? But the hygiene stuff people mentioning on here? They’re just nuts, you’re not sharing diseases by sticking the top of a clean finger in a cream pot. Wash your hands people.

But the fact that you are secretly using her creams, are worried she’ll find out and posting here about it, makes me wonder if you have some type of weird fetish.

Sooo using skin cream = fetish?

Am I really the weird one here or is it the person trying to equate use of skin creams to some kind of mental disorser? I didn't know using skin creams meant you had something mentally wrong.

It's not that you're using skin creams. It's that you're using someone else's stuff (stealing) and being all teeheehee about it like it's cute, and then making it some kind of rant about how these companies should advertise to men. You're not buying their products, you're stealing from your own wife.

If you can't be honest about it, it's a problem.

It’s probably petty but…the kids take my stuff all the time, my phone chargers disappear every time I turn around, everyone eats all the snacks and they’re gone before I get any…I feel like I never get to have anything that’s MINE. I would expect my skin care to be one thing that can just be for me. Just buy your own if you like it and leave hers alone!

+1 I wouldn't care about him using face serum. I'd care about him taking things that weren't his and treating me like I couldn't have boundaries.

If she bought them, they're hers. If you want some, ask, or buy your own. Children learn this lesson. You should too.

Buy your own and stop using her products. Yes, she'll be mad.

This has to be troll post.

Why the secrecy?
Of course a man can use women's skincare products!
It's just really unhealthy that you somehow think this is a shameful. Get your own products. Have fun with it!

My father has always used skincare products. He buys his own. He's a domestic sort of person (cooks, cleans, sews curtains and clothes). He has been happily married to my mother for 40 years and is not gay. A man can be whoever he wants to be.

I figured out my husband was using my face wash on his entire body and almost killed him.

I’m PP. The fetish is had nothing to do with using skin creams. That’s fine. The fetish is secretly using his wife’s stuff and getting excited about it - seems like keeping secrets from his wife excites him or something weird like that. My DH uses my creams and conditioner all the time. He says it better than the stuff they market for men and make his skin soft.

Not mad if you look like Brad Pitt who also steals products they say
