That’s different than better regarded academically. |
So how exactly do you measure and compare the relative academic rigor between Tulane and Richmond? You have of course attended multiple classes at both. 🙄🙄🙄 |
Only b/c USNews has decided to rank based on DEI and first generation rather than academics. I don't believe their rankings any longer. |
+1 but Richmond is also solid. Agree with PP you should visit both. |
Agree |
That’s only because you don’t like the results. Plenty of Tulane peer schools didn’t tumble at all or not much. How do you explain the WSJ ranking of 252? |
| You should make a visit to both places. That will help in deciding based on factors you care about most. |

Plenty of Tulane peer schools didn’t tumble at all or not much. How do you explain the WSJ ranking of 252? The WSJ rankings are an absolute joke. I guess we're all sending our kids to BYU since they are a T20 now? I mean, why aren't we all talking about ED'ing to BYU since it's a 60% acceptance rate and a T20 school? But Brown, UCLA, Colby, Johns Hopkins are all outside of the T50 so not to be considered. |

Because they don’t have ED. |
+1 |
Again, looking at a sampling of Tulane peer schools, WSJ has following rankings: Vanderbilt: 13 Duke: 16 Emory: 42 UNC: 83 UVA: 84 Tulane: 354 (I was wrong at 252) Again, why is Tulane so much worse than the peer schools? It's not even about being outside the Top 50. |
Those aren’t peer schools for Tulane. Please. |
I mean, there's a reason 75% of all episodes of "Cops" are filmed in NOLA... |
Oh please. Homicide was filmed in Baltimore. Does that mean JHU is a bad school? |
