Not going to school on Saturday will impact your child's mental health? Tell them to go play in the snow. Or play a board game with them. Or bake some cupcakes. Just spitballing here.

These are the parents that don't want to hang out with their kids....I feel bad for kids stuck at home with parents like this.

This schtick is getting old. Yes, we hate our kids because we want them to be educated in person and join activites. We're monsters.

This weekend won't happen....I think you will all survive without basketball by the way other sports and activities are being missed too.

Its really hard to reschedule when an entire day of games are canceled because we can't magically make more gyms appear on other weekends. We have games back to back all day on every scrap of alloted gym space. Our winter permit ends on a certain date. We already have multiple days with canceled games we are trying to reschedule.

Right but this is Mother Nature....this is not FCPS's fault. Winter happens-have some fun outside.

Go sled or build a snowman...maybe watch a movie with your family. Your schtick is getting old too-tired of hearing you moan about schools closing.

My kid wants to be playing basketball. He's already built the snowman. Now it's time for his team activities.

You sure are on here a lot for someone who supposedly spends soo much time with their kids. Sounds more like you’re ignoring them while you post repeatedly on DCUM.

+1 we had the fire going and hot cocoa-it was lovely after two years of no snow.
