Practicing their belief by attempting to eradicate other people’s beliefs?

No. That is not worth my limited tolerance. It’s evil
.

If you want to practice your beliefs, privately, for yourself, I have all the respect on the world. Missionaries and proselytizing is profoundly hateful and violent to communities.

Why? Are these communities so fragile that they can’t stand a visit from Christians? What are you so afraid of?

It is so sickeningly crass that I can't believe this insane practice still goes on. And it is usually nutty bible thumping Americans doing the proselytizing.

How about Yankee christians stay at home and mind their own damn business? Quit trying to interfere with other cultures and religions. Missionaries are nothing but disgusting ethnocentrism on display. Maybe it is time buddhists send monks on a mission in America to convert all of the lost souls practicing a false religion who are doomed to hell and will never reach nirvana?

How about people who spit out so much hate stop traveling around the world and spread their negativity around? Let buddhists decide for themselves if they want to send their monks on a mission in US.

Translation: Dear Asians, you don't do religion, government, and social structures right. Do it MY way, because you believe in idols and false gods.

So, soooooo vulgar.

Really rich too coming from bible thumpers in America given the divorce rates and violent gun crimes committed in the country. Stay in your lane white people. Your ethnocentrism is revolting and has ruined the world for the last 2000 years.

The fact that Christians visit to 'save' people is vile. Your god is as much of a false idol as any Budddah. How about staying to yourself and minding your own business. You are literally traveling to a foreign country and culture and basically telling them they're doing it all wrong even though they have had their religion and shrines that have been standing longer than almost all churches in Europe. MYOB.

I recognize and mourn the harm brought about by some missionaries, past and present. Yet I am so grateful for the ones who brought my family to faith in Jesus in our country of origin.

A mosque opening is different than prosteylzing. Rarely do you see American Muslims traving abroad to convert nonbelievers to the 'correct' relgion.

Colonizing and religious conversion are almost entirely white western constructs for the last 2000 years.

Stay in your lane with your own false religions white peole. These days it is pretty much only bible thumping looney bins from America trying to preach and perform missions.

Um, you should maybe think about why middle eastern countries have contributed billions of dollars to building mosques and educational systems in the US. Just think about it. It doesn't match the Muslim population.

Islam is also a religion that seeks to covert. Buddhism and Hinduism, amongst other religions, do not seek to convert. Missionaries going to these countries where these religions are the majority and using economic power to convert is problematic for all the reasons stated by others. I literally saw a small one room church (but with a cross) on an uninhabited holy spot in southern India. It was so obnoxious and obviously provocative and insensitive - why? Why is your Christian faith better? It is newer, it is more violent, and less tolerant. Keep it to yourselves and let others live how they wish to live.

Do you feel the same way about Islam?

It’s basically an MLM but worse.

Well, if their ideology is more appealing than yours, it kind of sounds like a skill issue to me. Get gud.

It’s just a belief that they are practicing out of love. Your heart sounds hardened. You should work on that in the new year. What makes your way right or better? We live in a big community with each other. Let others make their own choices. It’s not just about you. People can decide for themselves to follow or not.

I find Christian proselytizing equally obnoxious at home.

This may shock you, but maybe both can be bad at the same time...

NP. I wonder how many of these repetitive “vile” and “disgusting” posters are the same 1-2 posters sock puppetting.

Thank god all of those Christian missionaries to Native Americans enrolled their kids in all of those Christian boarding schools 💀

The United States Government founded and funded those schools.

Where have you personally witnessed this? Or are you just attacking a group of people for their religious practices?
