Food prices are the key fpr the public's future

If Trump were president today with the exact same economy, he'd be touting it as THE GREATEST EVER.

Prove me wrong.

The public doesn’t know how to shop. I’ve been saying it for years. Shop sales and loss leaders, buy food that’s in season, stay out of the center aisles, and be loyal to no one, and your prices will remain relatively stable over time. I paid less for proteins this month than I did on an inflation adjusted basis 10 years ago. Some weeks we eat burger, some weeks we eat rib roast, some weeks we eat pork or chicken or vegetarian. I know how to cook at all.

If you’re going to rely on hyper processed junk food week over week and only want to go to one premium grocery store and buy the same crap every week, you’re going to pay for that. Convenience costs money. Ignorance costs money. And those companies are making too tidy a profit from the lie that is “inflation” to stop until competitive pressures force them to.

We wouldn't have the same economy, because he doesn't believe in the same things this administration believes in.

He's a businessman. He KNOWS that side of the equation. Has Biden ever had a private job outside of government in his life?

Explain his multiple bankruptcies then, genius.

He is hack who inherited his money. And now it is been proven fraudster and may just lose it all.

So you think there is some grand conspiracy? If it was gouging, a secondarily player would undercut the competition and make a ton of money. The fact that no one has means that the inputs all cost more which is reflected in prices. Joe did that

How did Joe do that? Specifically.

Because the Trump organization has around 500 individual companies and you cite four or five bankruptcies. His branding is everywhere. He has a metric shit ton of companies under the Trump name.

You leave out DETAILS.

Do you know of many companies or organizations that have NOT ended on the timeline as bankruptcy? Bankruptcy hits all companies eventually. That's the natural birth to death model of a company.

The same people griping about the cost of a $13.00 sandwich are advocating for high wages. You can’t have it both ways.

Those are the MAGAs who will follow Trump right off a cliff.

Lots of people don't know how to cook anymore. The best investment you can make in your health (and thus your wealth) is to learn how to shop and learn how to cook healthy meals. You will definitely eat more nutritious food (more micronutrients that you don't get in french fries). You will feel so much better. Also less sugar (which has absolutely no nutrition, just empty calories).

"The forms were released on Wednesday, July 22, by the Federal Election Commission. Among other things, they required Trump to list all entities for which he serves as an executive. Of the 515 listed in the disclosure, 268 of them—52%—contain his last name and don’t clearly reference someone else, like his father Fred Trump. (Many others contain variations on Donald Trump’s initials, but we didn’t count those because go big or go home.)"

You missed the “profitable” part.

This is fair. If you check turkeys are on sale for $1-3/lb post-Thanksgiving. However you need to know how to cut, process, and freeze meat as well.

That is capitalism baby. Get a better job or you don't deserve to eat.

That is LITERALLY the motto of the right.

That should be the motto of every adult.
