Food prices are the key fpr the public's future

Reporters are now focusing on the real crux. Food prices are crippling the public.

While the job market has remained strong and the underlying economy resilient, a dramatic run-up in prices since Biden took office has soured voters on his handling of the economy.

Stop treating the symptom. Treat the underlying problem.

So you think there is some grand conspiracy? If it was gouging, a secondarily player would undercut the competition and make a ton of money. The fact that no one has means that the inputs all cost more which is reflected in prices. Joe did that

There's no more competition. Most major corporations are owned by a few companies. They aren't going to undercut themselves.

People are choosing to pay $16 for McDonald’s and $13 for Subway. These are not essential food groups. Make wiser choices.

You think it's just fast food that's gotten ridiculous? Been to a grocery store recently?

Yes. It doesn’t cost me $13 to buy ingredients for a sandwich.

Yes, most of the retailers are big box names that we all recognize. The cellular long haul is all names we recognize. Most of the restaurants, car repair and tax preparation places are chains. The news outlets have been shutdown and now there are just a few major outlets.

Everyone else has been run out of business by lawfare and great sounding legislation pushed by conglomerates to run competition out of business - legislation as a weapon.

And don't tell me one party did this. Not by a long shot.

What? Its $6 for deli meat these days. $3 for bread. Lettuce is another $2. Tomatoes are $1. Literally. Mayo and condiments are extra.
