This is one of the most delicious and elegant preparations of peas I’ve encountered. Peas are elevated to stardom.

Can you give a more exact recipe, pease?

look up recipies for British mushy peas. It's served in most pubs with fish & chips, etc.

This is a rare food that I don't like. I kept reading to see if there was one suggestion that I would go for, and there's not.

One thing I've had that was OK was peas with prosciutto. You crisp up some prosciutto and toss it with lightly cooked peas and some olive oil.

I’m not a fan of peas, but I’d eat this.

I love peas, but I would eat about anything with pancetta and shallots!

Our Thanksgiving features frozen peas. Not formerly frozen peas, rather little still frozen peasicles. It’s the only green thing a couple of my nieces will eat.

I don't really use a recipe but it looks more like this. They are not cooked to death like British mushy peas. It does not look like chunky split pea soup. They are much tastier and looks fresher. I mash some and mix them with whole peas. I could eat a whole bowl.

There are some delicious Indian dishes with peas - keema matar, mutter paneer, aloo mutter.

Fresh peas are great in salad, like peas, radish and mint.

Also, pea shoots are one of my favorite greens, I put them on salads, sandwiches, soups, stews, main courses, pizza.

Most of the people will be disappointed to find you have put in mint or a sauce, or mashed them.

Would stick to really good butter, salt, pepper

I do a thing with canned peas that is not really "to die for" but I like it. It's easy.
Chop up an onion real fine. I prefer sweet onions because they are milder. You should have 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of chopped onion.
Melt a stick of butter in a pan. Add the chopped onion and saute until they are soft. Open 2 cans of peas. Drain the water from the cans into the sink.
Dump the peas in with the butter and onions. Sprinkle a little less than 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder in. Add 1/2 teaspoon pepper (maybe a little less) and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir. Heat it up until it is hot. Taste. Maybe add more salt if you want. Done.
