You could always do creamed peas and pearl onions - buttery, rich and as decadent as you want to make them depending on the amount of butter and cream.

The Ina snap pea recipe is also good!

I do a version of minted peas that are phenomenal. Lots of butter, salt and pepper, hot peas, and a splash of heavy cream or 1/2 and 1/2. Blend until smooth. Amazing.
